Doctor of Medicine (Oviedo). Master in Disasters and Emergency Medicine. Medical specialist in Family Medicine. He has been working in the last 25 years as Medical Doctor in different Emergency Medical Services in Spain (currently in SAMU-Asturias), with clinical and planning expertise. He is the coordinator of the Mass Casualty Incident and Disaster Response working group in SAMU-Asturias. He is currently also Associate Professor at the Department of Medicine of University of Oviedo (Spain), and team Leader of the Prehospital Care and Disasters Research Group (GIAPREDE) in the Health Research Institute of Asturias (ISPA) . Has published more than 100 manuscripts and presented more than 80 communications to congresses.
