EMMPHID for me is truly unforgettable experience under all the perspectives, starting from the course contents and ending up with the student environment. In Oviedo, we had a chance to enjoy the great variety of lecturers coming from all over the world exclusively to us; spent a perfect time discussing burning topics and solving practical issues. When I was applying to the EMMPHID, I knew that being accepted will be a massive achievement. I was sure I will have an extraordinary experience because of the nature of the program merging students from different countries in one classroom and giving them the opportunity to share their experiences based on their different backgrounds. Truly, there are so much learning from EMMPHID we will treasure the rest of our careers. This, is not only enclosed in the four corners of the room discussing public health and disaster science but to the totality of the experience. The program is more than a degree, but more of an insight of what real life is; how to respond and make such tragedy a beautiful disaster.
